Before I start, I want to tell you where I get my words from; The Holy Spirit. I just get overcome with this. I don't know what you would call it; inspiration, feeling, enlightenment, but what ever it is, I need to put it in writing.
I feel like an alcoholic who needs to take his next drink before his fix over comes him. I just get this drive and compulsion, so here it goes:
Now you might say "Are you putting an armor suit on just like the medieval did?" I would answer, well yes and no. The suit I have is from God, but he is protecting me from the arrows of the devil and like the medieval it was worn to protecting you from the arrows that were shot by mortal enemies. God's suit of armor consist of many of the same garments, but his garments have power that even the devil can't withstand.
What does this mean; Belt of Truth. Well, as we all know the devil is the father of all lies. When we first meet Adam and Eve, he doesn't waste any time spreading his deception and disillusioning mankind. See, the devil doesn't care about your body, what he really wants is your soul. Your body is a temporary house for your soul and he doesn't care about that. As soon as your body fades away, your souls will face the creator and he will decide which path you will take. He will open up the gated to heaven or send you to the fiery gates of hell. The devil would like to see you to go to hell so he can see you suffer and know that he has taken another one away from God.
Even if you are a follower of Christ; you will be tempted. The Belt of Truth, when it is wrapped around you is a gift from God. When anyone speaks to you or you hear anything through the media, you need to determine if this is the truth or a lie. This is where the Belt of Truth comes into play. You need to determine if it is true spoken from God or a deception to be misled by Satan himself. The belt holds everything together, as it is written:Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life.(John 14:6). This is the only way to stand in the presence of God.
The breast plate cover the whole front of your chest. It is designed to protect you from an injury that is coming your way. God gives this plate to you to protect your heart and soul from the evil one. When you have a soft heat, you will do things that are pleasing to God and if you have a hard heart then this will be pleasing to Satan. Satan will always throw arrows at you, so he can penetrate your heart with evil and retrieve your soul for his conquest. Remember, everything that you have is a gift from God and only you can determine if you will put on God's armor and protect yourself from the evil one or take it off and expose yourself to the devil's plan.
When you are fitted with the Gospel of Peace, you are ready to encounter anything that will come your way.You are able to stand on your owe two feet and proclaim the gospel and Satan will not intervene at all. He wants to upset your peace so that your soul will lean toward what he wants you to do. The gospel will make you stronger and the armor will protect you from demonic forces, which are trying to disturb your peace. Just like your feet support your whole body, the Gospel will support your fight against evil.
As I mentioned before, the devil will try to infiltrate you in as many ways as there are possible. One of his tactics is to throw arrows at you questioning your faith. He will use doubt in every time you talk to God. He will tell you that God does not love you, he doesn't care anything about you and whatever he tells you it will not happen. When the devil snakes his way into your presence, put up the shield of faith by telling the devil to depart from you in The Name of Our Lord Jesus Crist.
Remember, that your body is a temple and God lives inside of you. He wants your mind and your heart pure in his presence. When you keep your mind pure and understand his commandments you will always have his presence with you. The devil is always trying pierce your mind with his temptation. He will always tell you that you can have everything so easy if you listen to him. You can have wealth, joy and the world at your finger tips. Unfortunately, what he promises you is just a vapor. Eternal life will only be with keeping The Word of God.
Now lets talk about the sword. Does that mean that when evil show up, you take the sword out of hit sheath and start swinging at the person that is evil. Maybe you would like to, but no. The sword of the Spirit is what comes out of your mind and heart through your mouth. Your mouth does a lot; it can tear a person a part or it can lift one up. When Sword of the Spirit come out that is the Word of God. God is speaking and he is using you as a messenger to convey what he wants them to hear.

There are a few Volunteers that help out with the children. They keep them active while teaching them about the Kingdom of God.
She schedules and co-ordinates all activities for the ministry every week. There are six volunteers weekly.
